Hot Wheels 1955 Chevy Nomad

The 1955 Chevy Nomad one of this authors favorite Hot Wheels. The stunning Nomad was released in 1970. With it's ribbed roof with sun roof and opening hood with a detail motor. An important side note is 1955 was the year that marked the release of Chevy's legendary V8 engine.

1955 Chevy Nomad seems to be the most popular Nomad, possibly because of its unique wheel openings. 1955 was the first year the Nomad was introduced along with the first year the legendary Chevy V8 was offered as a motor option . The 55 Nomad with the six cylinder motor was priced at $2472 while the eight cylinder came in at $2571
